A senior opportunity currently exists for an experienced individual to manage the following responsibilities:
• Liaise with BD personnel to assist in securing appropriate prospects for tender
• Manage the preparation and presentation of the tender submissions
• Provide Engineering leadership and technical support to current projects
• Establish and effectively co-ordinate, strong tender teams including specialist outsourced consultants as appropriate
• Devise and review strategies for the successful conversion of the tender into a contract
• Involve and keep Senior Management informed during the bid process
• Manage the preparation of accurate estimates that reflect the scope of work and contract conditions
• Adopt the role of Bid-Leader as appropriate or necessary
It is essential that you have proven civil construction experience within the Construction industry. You will need to have demonstrated experience in managing staff and consultants, strong communication skills, proven experience in managing and developing relationships and an understanding of customer requirements.
Experience is required in the areas of planning, identifying, monitoring and managing key project risks. You will also need skills in prioritising, coordinating and deploying project resources to ensure consistency of key processes.
