Our client is a large joint venture comprising of some of the worlds leading Engineering, Design and Construction Groups.
We are currently searching for an experienced Senior Environmental Manager to assist in the delivery of one of Australia’s largest Projects.
This role will take a lead role in the implementation, maintenance and review of the Environmental Management System and its application in planning and in improving environmental performance.
The position will be responsible for managing evironmental matters on this major Project.
You will be expected to develop strong working relationships with all Project personnel and Manage all environmental matters.
Key Accountabilities:
· Manage the effective implementation of the Project Environmental plans, and improve and update as necessary
· Promote world leading-project Environmental practices and initiate actions to improve performance
· Provide ongoing Environmental-related advice
· Communicate with all levels of staff to discuss and resolve Environmental Project matters.
