Our client is one of Australia’s most prestigious engineering contractors.
Reporting to the Chief Estimator, you will be responsible for a large and diverse range of civil tenders. A technical understanding of civil (earth/ structures/pipelines) engineering works in the Queensland is of benefit.
Responsibilities include:
• Assessing tender documents and assessing advantages/disadvantages with the scope of work
• Preparation of detailed first principles estimates for a broad range of civil engineering projects
• Identifying subcontract and material supply prices required for the tender and formulating a plan for acquisition of pricing
• Identification and evaluation of key opportunities and risks associated with tender
• The ability to effectively contribute to a proactive Engineering team is essential
