Civil Project Engineers required for large UK Contractor with work starting in April.
This established Civil Engineering Contractor is looking for Engineers who have demonstrated their ability on major project sites and who are keen to stay with their Group for a minimum 2 year period.
You will be required to supervise junior Engineers, Direct Labour and Sub-Contractors, also assist the Area Managers by resolving a variety of on site engineering and construction issues.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:
Client Management:
Take the lead role at a project level to ensure client expectations are managed. This will include establishment of a project brief, understanding the development drivers, establishing a cost plan to meet agreed budget, risk identification and mitigation strategies
Leadership:
Create an environment for a highly motivated and exceptional team to perform at optimum productive levels
Cost Planning/Programming:
Drive the value engineering agenda in the design development phases to optimise the design solution.Develop an overall project program
Risk Management:
Identify and understand key risks and opportunities in all aspects of the project to optimise our clients position. This will include head contracts, designs, budgets, authorities and project delivery
Environment, Health and Safety:
To implement EH&S systems and set the standard of zero tolerance of unsafe practises and occurrences
